About Theresa Johnson
Theresa (DePuydt) Johnson started creating art at a young age. Some of her earliest drawings were created on the walls of her bedroom. Her mother disapproved of the walls being used as canvases, but that didn't deter Theresa. She just continued drawing, hidden away behind the clothes of her closet. After high school, Theresa enrolled in the graphic design program at Montana State University. Besides the required graphic design courses, Theresa also took several life drawing courses and a couple painting courses. Unfortunately Theresa's painting supplies were stolen twice while in school so she decided perhaps she wasn't meant to paint. It wasn't until 1999 after Theresa had graduated and moved to Portland, OR that Theresa decided to...
